Techne Futbol | 2020 - 2022 | App Design
The Techne App was created to help players develop their soccer-playing skills at home using a curriculum developed by Yael Averbuch, a former U.S. National Team and professional soccer player. The goal of the redesign was to increase engagement and encourage players to level up.
As lead designer, I crafted a clean and friendly app within their established brand guidelines. We focused on creating medals, sock badges, steak freezes, and proficiency tiers to encourage friendly competition amongst their users. In order to increase engagement, we created an onboarding flow that got players testing their skills within the first few minutes of signing up.
